Spearman announces that Francis Marion University recently awarded Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education degrees to a Cohort of 13 candidates. The participants received full scholarships through the South Carolina Office of Special Education Services’ SC-CREATE program, which operates centers at 13 of the state’s leading colleges and universities, including Francis Marion.

Spearman and her staff hosted a statewide faculty meeting on the New Assessment in Grades 3-8 “ SC Ready” and changes for the immediate and long-term future for Educator Evaluation. This meeting was for all superintendents, administrators, principals, and educators and was held on Wednesday, January 27 at 4:00 pm.
