Superintendent Spearman Announces Principal Advisory Council

Columbia, SC – State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman recently formed a Principal Advisory Council to provide feedback from a principal’s perspective on education in South Carolina’s schools.

“This is an exciting time for education in South Carolina, as we continue to bring stakeholders together from across the state,” said Spearman.  “Principals play an important role in our school community.  Great teachers want to work for great principals.  The principals on this council have already proven themselves with their ability to lead.  They will play a valuable role in advising me on ways to develop the next generation of great principals in South Carolina,” concluded Spearman.
