U.S. Department of Education Awards $10 Million to S.C. Department of Education to Improve Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities: The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) has been awarded $10 million from the U.S. Department of Education’s Rehabilitation Services Administration as part of its Pathways to Partnerships innovative model project. The SCDE was selected as one of just 12 state education agencies nationwide to serve as a lead agency for this grant.

South Carolina Department of Education Releases End-of-Course and Career Readiness Assessments: The South Carolina Department of Education has released statewide public school results for the Career Readiness and End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) assessment tests taken for high school courses in the school year 2022-2023.

S.C. Department of Education Releases 2022-2023 SCPASS, SC READY Assessment Results: The South Carolina Department of Education released the 2022-2023 school year results for the South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) in Science and the South Carolina College-and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY) examinations in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics given in the elementary and middle school grade levels.
