Carolina School Leadership Executive Institute (SLEI) is open to experienced school
leaders with three or more years of experience beginning September 2026.
The South Carolina Principal Induction Program (PIP) is now accepting enrollment of all
first-time principals for the 2026–27 school year. Satisfactory completion of PIP is required
for all first-time principals per S.C. Code Ann. § 59-5-60 and 59-24-80.

The South Carolina Department of Education Office of Leadership Effectiveness is launching the Instructional Leadership Accelerator Pilot Fund, a new funding opportunity focused on strengthening leadership systems that directly impact teaching and learning.
The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) announces that the 2026–27 Request for Proposals for the Innovation Grant is now available online. Approximately $9,000,000 in funding will be awarded on a competitive basis; the deadline to apply is June 30, 2026.
