Description
In 2024, the South Carolina General Assembly began allocating funds to the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) for the Abstinence-Until-Marriage Evidence-Based Programs. Prior to 2024, this state grant was administered by the former South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC). The SCDE administers these funds in accordance with the legislative proviso 1.101.
