High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) often include complex texts that require essential background knowledge. This session helps teachers identify key contextual needs in their HQIM selections and use adjacent texts and supplemental resources to build that knowledge efficiently. |
Office Hours are monthly, one-hour sessions designed to support educators and instructional leaders across South Carolina implementing HQIM in ELA and mathematics for grades K–8. Office Hours will not be recorded.
Each session includes 15 minutes of focused micro–professional learning related to HQIM implementation, followed by 45 minutes dedicated to updates and Q&A.

Each webinar expands on concepts introduced during the prior month’s CBPL Office Hours and provides focused, actionable professional learning. Webinars are recorded, and renewal credit is available for participants who attend the session live, actively engage, and complete the required reflection form at the conclusion of the session.
