Micro-credentials

Teachers, administrators, and district leaders certainly have proven their creativity and flexibility in the past few years. Most educators have grown skills in virtual instruction, connecting with students, and cooperating with colleagues, just to name a few.  The Office of Educator Effectiveness and Leadership Development encourages educators to explore micro-credentials as a way to formally recognize that growth. Micro-credentials allow educators to participate in professional learning that is personalized, directly connected to their work, and competency-based. When earning a micro-credential, an educator demonstrates a competency by gathering evidence of work with students or colleagues.
