Priority Schools

The South Carolina State Department of Education uses the designation of Priority Schools as schools performing in the bottom 10% of all schools in their grade span (elementary, middle or high). In order to exit Priority status, a school must no longer be ranked in the bottom 10% of schools at the end of the three years of a cycle. The next identification will occur Fall 2025. Each school will receive state technical assistance funds and support from the Office of School Transformation.
