South Carolina Migrant Education Program Subgrant 2023–24

Description

The U.S. Department of Education (USED) provides a Migrant Education Program (MEP) formula grant to the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) to establish and improve education programs for migratory children and youth. The SCDE’s 2023–24 MEP will provide subgrants to local organizational agencies (LOAs) to improve educational opportunities for migratory children and youth to help them succeed in the regular school year, meet the same challenging state academic standards that all children and youth are expected to meet, and earn a high school diploma.
