VirtualSC

To provide South Carolina students with flexible and rigorous online learning opportunities that will help them acquire the knowledge, skills and characteristics necessary for college, career, and military readiness.

As a supplemental program, VirtualSC works with diploma-granting public, private, and home schools to provide online courses for high school credit. There are no limits on the units of credit a student may earn in one year or towards a high school diploma. VirtualSC does offer a few middle school courses; and, 7th and 8th graders may take courses, such as English 1 and Algebra 1, for high school credit with the approval of their sponsoring schools.
