Fiscal and Grants Management (FGM)

Fiscal and Grants Management (FGM) is responsible for collecting and managing all financial and programmatic data required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as well as other federal and state laws and regulations relating to the provision of special education and related services for students with disabilities in the State of South Carolina.

FGM prepares the Office of Special Education Services (OSES) budget reports, tracks and reports OSES expenditures, performs fiscal monitoring of local education agencies (LEAs) and state-operated programs (SOPs) under the IDEA, and manages procurement activities for the OSES.
