The ACP is an Federal Communications Commission benefit of up to $30/month towards internet service for eligible households. Eligibility guidelines and a link to the ACP application can be found at https://www.fcc.gov/acp.
 

Low-Cost Internet Offers

• Comcast Internet Essentials offer for low-cost internet ($9.95/month) to eligible families (PDF Flyer)
  • District sponsorship of Comcast internet
  • Comcast is available in areas in Aiken, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Edgefield, Hampton, Jasper, and Newberry Counties
• AT&T offers the Access program for $10/month or less to eligible families (PDF Summary and Flyer)

Federal Lifeline Support Program

• Lifeline is a program of the Federal Communications Commission that supports communication services, including internet, for households in certain federal assistance programs, including SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, Federal Public Housing Assistance, and the Veterans Pension and Survivor Program. The program provides a monthly discount of up to $9.25 to qualifying households. Apply through the Universal Service Administrative Co.

T-Mobile

• T-Mobile Project 10 Million Program - Project 10Million offers eligible households 100GB of data per year and a FREE mobile hotspot for 5 years. Plus, participating school districts have the option to apply the value of the free program towards additional data plans based on student’s needs. (PDF Application)

SC Broadband Expansion

• The South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff's Broadband Office is working to expand broadband internet in our state. To see maps about these efforts, please visit https://www.scdigitaldrive.org. If you need internet, your responses to this survey can be incorporated into future maps as this the expansion project progresses.
