Ed-Fi Data Publishing
If you have data publishing errors that display an error message such as “The value supplied for the related ‘courseoffering’ resource does not exist,” then your district may be using a course number that is not accounted for in the master Course Activity Codes list. This is an error message that could show up in the “Organization Schedules” category, for example.

If you are receiving this message, please check to see if the first four digits in the course number associated with the error are in the spreadsheet linked to above. If they are not, please reach out to the Data Collection Team to let us know via PowerSchool@ed.sc.gov

Ed-Fi Regional Workshop

If you have not yet had a chance to do so, please register for an Ed-Fi Regional Workshop! We currently have at least one participant from almost every district, but we'd love to see representation from ALL districts. Multiple people from a given district are welcome to attend, but we ask that that they each complete a registration form and that they be employees who work with PowerSchool at the district level.

These in-person workshops will provide you with invaluable information and guidance to help you gain confidence and skill resolving dependencies and errors that appear in your Ed-Fi publishing dashboard. Members of the Office of Research and Data Analysis, as well as representatives from Education Analytics and Level Data will be present to work with participants. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity!

Once registered, you’ll receive an email with the information that you need to come prepared! The pre-workshop tasks are summarized here below:

• Make sure you are on a minimum of State Reporting release version 22.11.1.0.
• Complete fresh downloads.
• Complete fresh data pushes.
• Record your current errors.
• Research and review.
• Bonus: Focus on a few schools.
