SALUDA, S.C. – Sarah Longshore, Saluda High School principal, was selected to participate in a Lifetouch Memory Mission® to build a school in the Dominican Republic January 18 – 26, 2016. As a 2015 finalist for the National Assistant Principal of the Year title, Longshore was chosen to represent the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) out of its 27,000 members worldwide.
Lt. Col. Davis, a teacher at Edisto High in Orangeburg School District Four, has been awarded a highly competitive annual fellowship with the U.S. Department of State Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) program, which selected 80 teachers from around the country out of more than 1,000 applicants.
The SCPCSD was one of only two SC School Districts to receive the College Board’s “Gaston Caperton Opportunity Honor Roll 2015”.
In February, the Science Olympiad Team from Clinton Middle School won the state Science Olympiad championship.
