Amy McAllister-Skinner

McAllister says teaching is her defining attribute. She has learned that in order to truly consider herself an educator, she must step out of her comfort zone and dive into a larger community of lifelong learners. It is her desire to never be complacent and content with education, but strive to learn as much as she can in order to be the best teacher for her students.

McAllister earned a bachelor's degree from Francis Marion University and will complete a master's degree from Coastal Carolina University in May 2012. She has been teaching for five years and is national board certified.
