Career and Technology Work Based Certification Program

The office is responsible for the initial issue, renewal, extension, and advancement of career and technology education work-based certification. Services provided by the office include the following:

• Assistance to individuals seeking certification under Reg. 43.63 Career and Technology Education Work-Based Certification;
  
  
• Information on the policies and regulations governing the certification of career and technology education teachers;
  
  
• Information to certificate holders and school district personnel regarding renewal, extension, and advancement of career and technology education certificates; and
  
  
• Administration of the state trade competency examinations.
