Educator Preparation

Educator Preparation collaborates with colleges of education and teacher education programs to ensure that candidates have the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to achieve state certification and become effective educators. The unit does this by assisting with unit accreditation and program approval processes at the state and national levels. The unit is also responsible for complying with federal reporting requirements mandated by Title II of the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
