Uncertified Applicants

Applicants who have completed an approved teacher education program but have not been certified must complete the following steps:

STEP 1

• Complete the Application Procedure.
• Complete the electronic fingerprint process. (19Kb PDF)
• Submit the non-refundable $105 processing fee.

STEP 2

• Submit an official, sealed transcript from each college or university attended.
• Submit a "College Recommendation Form" from designated college official.
• College Recommendation (80Kb PDF) to send to your college official.

STEP 3

• Submit passing scores for the required Praxis II specialty area exams.
• Submit passing score on the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) in the specific grade level.
