Special Projects
Palmetto Priority Schools
The South Carolina Department of Education is working in collaboration with partners across the state to provide assistance to sixteen Palmetto Priority Schools. These schools were made part of the collaborative when they failed to meet the expected progress on student achievement required by the Education Accountability Act (EAA).
The Priority Schools have until fall 2008 to demonstrate that they have made expected progress, and the determination will be made based on the testing that will occur in spring 2008.
