Office of School Facilities
Mission
Alex James, AIA, Director
The Office of School Facilities (OSF) serves as the building and facilities authority for public schools in South Carolina. The office also is responsible for the administration of certain building fund programs and provides facility-related technical and educational assistance to a broad group of customers, including school architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Our mission is to effectively and efficiently ensure a healthy, safe, and appropriate school learning environment for every student.
